Who we are is really not that important. But if you really must know, we are a group of passionate young people hungry to see God move mightily in our generation. Led by the coolest and funkiest pastor in the world (guess who wrote this), Collide is a movement born out of a desire to see this generation come together in unity to worship God, and to bring about a positive change to our communities.

Rooted in Psalm 45:17, Collide exists to spread the fame of Jesus through all generations. Psalm 45:17 "I will cause Your Name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people will give thanks to You forever and ever."

Jesus said in the bible that the most important commandments are to love God with all our passion, prayer and intelligence, and to love others as well as you love yourself. (The Message) Inseparable… you can’t do one without doing the other… you can’t love God and not love each other… and loving each other without knowing and loving God would be a waste. These are core for the visions of Collide… to awaken people to the Glory of God and to awaken Christian communities to each other. From there, we long to translate this love into tangible acts of service, to be Jesus’ hands and feet and bring about change to our communities.

• Awaken people to the Glory of God

  We want to gather communities of believers in this generation to come together and worship as one. When God is worshiped, he will draw all people to Himself. Through powerful and wholehearted praise and worship, we believe for God to move and stir up a spiritual awakening in this generation.

• Awaken Christian communities to each other
  

  We want to gather communities of believers and awaken them to the bigger picture of what God is doing in this generation. We love the local church and believe that God is using local churches to bring His kingdom down on this earth. As such, our desire is for God’s people to gather, encourage and strengthen one another, to see that they are not just a few kids from a small youth group, but that they are part of a generation that God is raising up to change history.

• Change our surroundings
  

  We believe that whenever united hearts loving God gather at one place, they bring the kingdom of God to that place. We want to be God’s tools to spread His love, mercy and grace to the communities around us through acts of justice. Thus, Collide will be collaborating with The Salvation Army and Pertapis for social-justice purposes. We are calling out to this generation to be a part of this movement to impact our communities.
